Join Us!

You can join us for rehearsal anytime! We practice on Tuesdays from 7-9pm at Bath-Brunswick Respite Care in Bath, Maine.

There is an easy audition to see if you can match notes and hold your voice part. After three rehearsals, you may be invited to join and become a member, if all goes well and you are a good musical fit. Once you’ve decided to become a member you will be given a copy of the music in our repertoire. You will also be outfitted with a tuxedo, two vests, two bow ties, and suspenders for performances. The cost of these items is fully subsidized by the chorus.

The Nor’easters chorus is a ​​member of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS).

BHS Membership cost $144 per year. District membership costs $25 per year. The Nor’easters opt to not charge their own annual fee.

We do ask that you purchase a Nor’easter polo, dress shirt, and hat. These are sold at cost and are used at less formal performances.
