BASICALLY YOURS

    Ray,    Cotton,   Dick,   Curt

Three of the men in this quartet sing Bass parts in the Noreaster's chorus. But when they decided they wanted to compete in the Granite and Pine Division Quartet contest, they realized some adjustments would be required. Ray switched to Tenor, Curt had sung baritone before, and Dick's Bass is getting stronger every day. They must have done something right because they won the novice champion trophy at the Granite and Pine Division quartet Competition in Bedford, New Hampshire on April 4.

THE MORE THE MERRIER

There's nothing wrong with this picture. You are looking at the 2009 VLQ Granite & Pine Division champions. A Very Large Quartet which by Society rules can not contain fewer than five members, nor more than 11. As you can see, we "maxed out" for this one.
